Here, two children learn about foods from another culture, specifically rice and a corn meal dish from Africa.

The kids had a great time showing off in their clothes from overseas.

Here Wes Munsell, helps his daughter place on the map the many missionaries that the Brookhaven church supports.

Lori McDivitt alos helps her daughter with the missionaries. It is a nice problem to have when your church is able to support so many missionaries that it takes some time to place them on a map.

Tiffany is helping a young boy with the origami. Tiffany was the mastermind of the entire event, and even though she was not feeling well, she pitched in to help at the stations.

Here several of the kids learn about origami, the Japanese art of folding paper. Thank you Jewel and Jessie for doing such a great job of teaching at the station.

We had a few exotic critters at this station, namely a Emperor Scorpian and a Rose Haired Tarantula. The most asked questions of the night were "Are those things real?" and "Did you really eat a spider?" The answer to both questions was "Yes." Thank you Art in Motion pet store for allowing us to use these fascinating animals.

The loudest station of the night was the music station where kids were able to bang, beat, and bang a number of instruements. What they could not hit, they yelled through, making a joyful noise for all to hear. The biggest kids at this station was Youth Pastor Adam McGhee, whose drum playing skills and African chants delighted the participants.

Here, three girls view the wide range of clothing that we had for the children to try on and experience.

Suzanne Howell and her husband Phillip were in charge of the language station where the kids learned a verse from Psalms in Spanish. They used song to aid the kids in their learning.

These two boys don't look too sold on trying to eat with the chopsticks. Thanks to Bamboo 8 for the donation of over 60 pairs of chopsticks for the night.

Nathan and Kim Cromer were decked out in their African garb for the evening. They were in charge of allowing the kids to experience foods from around the world.

Jamie and Josh Hilty, along with several members of the Youth Group who will be travelling to the Dominican Republic over the summer, worked with the kids in the geography station, helping the kids locate the countries and place the respective missionaries on the map.

We had planned for about 150 people to attend the dinner. Estimates of the actual attendance were over 210. God provided a great night, for the food, and for the fellowship.

Here, Tiffany is stirring the extra roaster of the chicken curry that was the main course for the evening.

The line stretched around the gym as the people patiently waited for their food.

Here, Tim serves the chicken curry to the waiting people. The dinner consisted of rice, pinto beans, and the curry. It truely was a dinner of international proportions.
